Well... this track is something weird, in a good way tho. I've started making this song about a year ago while I was pessimistic about my music and it gave me the courage to continue making it. It actually started out as smt to just experiment on. However, so fastly it turned into a song I felt like I had to share.
The storyline started out with me finding some lines from 2016. Then, it turned into this thing where meaning came to life while I'm writing. I've realized besides coming out of darkness to find the lights of the sun I also wrote about bullying. Thankfully I hadn't encountered much aside from the way I sometimes wrap my hair with a scarf. But my biggest bully is me. I am the master sabotager to my potential. All in all the song represents all of these if you can read between the lines lol. I hope you'll find peace as much as I did while making it. ✨

Written, performed, recorded and produced by Nilgun Ozer in her bedroom, a car, a train, different houses in Ankara and İstanbul. Let's just say she got a little obsessed with producing this one. Hence, she did it literally everywhere.
